NO, a 3-year extension is possible after I-140 is approved. In your case you will get a one-year extension based on PERM which is pending for 1 year, or is approved by the time you need to file for H-1B extension.

I sent my EAD application on 10/24(Wednesday), reached NSC on 10/26(Friday), Notice date 10/29(Monday), Check cashed 10/30(Tuesday)..Already got I-485 receipts back in August.
So they are Current now.... But what about those July/Aug filers who are still waiting for their receipts? Very unfair to them. I could wait for 2 months to get my EAD receipt if they could first receipt all july august filers...
They are really unpredictable..

I have got an RFE for my I-485 application. . I missed to complete a question (part3 and question #10) in I-485 form for which I got a request for evidence letter from USCIS. Can anyone has any template on how i should reply. Your help is much appreciated . Thanks in advance

USCIS is reporting that as of November 6th, 54,900 H-1Bs had been issued against the 65,000 annual quota. While this represents a dramatic drop in H-1B applications over previous years. In 2007, nearly 200,000 applications were filed in the first week applications were open and in 2009, the application period is now in its seventh month. Usage seems to be about 1,000 cases a week so we're probably looking at January or February to run out of numbers. Since you're already using EAD, you are no less safer to take up a new job. The most important thing is to be able to keep renewing your EAD til your GC arrives.

I currently reside in Nebraska. I'm in pending I-485, and its I-797C�s Received Date was in Aug, 20007, Receipt Number: LIN-xx-xxx-xxxxx. My EAD expires on this December 2010, and my AP has expired on December 2008. I re-entered US on Feb, 2010 using H1B Visa and its HIB has expired on May 2010. I�d like renew my EAD and AP. I�ve got all paper ready to file, but I�m confused about Where Service Center/Office I should file to and pay the fees to. I�d appreciate your help.

This report is about low skilled workers. IV (I think) is about addressing the EB immigration, which is mostly about highly skilled workers. So I don't see how this applies here...

I think people who haven't applied for their green card until now won't ever be able to do so....DOL won't ever make PERM certifications easier.

Can anyone help me know of a process by which I can get my duplicate W2 form. The scenario is that I asked my employer to send me the W2 form and they say they did send it via post. But I did not receive it. Also my employer says they have not received it back. I need to file my taxes(Fortunately I had applied for extention) and don't have a W2 to attach with it. Can anybody help me with knowing the process
